The Board of Directors has scheduled the following presentations:

Deputy Katherine Wessel of the Dane County Sheriff’s Department will present an incident critique which occurred in the Village of McFarland. The incident has surprising events that will be an excellent learning experience for negotiators.

Legal update for Crisis Negotiations, presented by Assistant Attorney General, Dave Perlman.

Detective Patrick Pajot of the Milwaukee Police Department will present a “Roof Top Jumper” which occurred in downtown Milwaukee, the incident has excellent learning points for negotiators.

Sergeant Bryan Franckowiak of the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office will present the I-94 standoff. The deployment of tactical and negotiations under adverse conditions, this incident debrief you do not want to miss.
The Wisconsin Crisis Negotiators Association (WICNA) and the Criminal Justice Center for Innovation (CJCI) at Fox Valley Technical College provided this up-to-date training.
Negotiators in law enforcement and corrections, their supervisors and command officers shall receive critical training and information for response to the pressured circumstances that occur.
Following the program, the WICNA annual meeting and election of officers will be held.
